A delegation from the office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner (ORGI), India, Dr Manoj Jain, Joint Director, ORGI, New Delhi and Chankit Kumar, Statistical Investigator, ORGI along with Census officials from Census Directorate of Kohima, Dr Kekrietshunuo Kire, Sr Executive, KH. Athisü Chachei, Statistical Investigator and Alemsongla Jamir Field Trainer Lecturer DIET, Chiechama, M Ruthla Sangtam Field Trainer, Lecturer DIET, Chiechama and ADC & Sub-divisional Census Officer, Chiephobozou, Vekusheyi Rhakho, visited Chiephobozou rural and urban Charges including, Nerhe Phezha, Botsa, Chiephobozou urban ward -5 and Touphema Village on July 16, as part of Census Operation 2027.

The team also inspected some newly enumerated houses and interacted with the Heads of the Houses and instructed the Enumerators and Supervisors about the House Listing Operation.

During a brief meeting at ADC’s Office Chamber, Dr. Manoj Jain said that the purpose of the visit was to observe and inspect the ongoing 1st phase of Census- 2027.
