18 cultural troupes from all across Nagaland will be performing daily at the Main Arena in Kisama during the 24th Hornbill Festival. These troupes, arranged by the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Nagaland will showcase lively songs and dances, adorned in colorful traditional attire, providing a captivating glimpse into Naga cultural diversity, DIPR stated.
The Department will also organise the Artists’ Corner at the World War II Museum Premises in Kisama where various art forms will be displayed and offered for sale. This corner will serve as a hub for artists to showcase their talents and engage with the audience.
According to DIPR, a dedicated Archives Week will also be organized. This event will feature a collection of selected historical documents from public and private collections and will provide reading facilities for students, scholars, and researchers, offering insights into Naga history. Departmental publications will also be available for sale at the World War II Complex, it said.
The World War II Museum in Kisama, a crucial site for understanding and experiencing historical events by exploring the outstanding relics and artifacts, will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
