A one-day career guidance for UPSC/NPSC/CAPF and other Departmental Exams was conducted under the theme “Education with Goal to Serve” on 25 March 2023 at PSC Conference Hall, Longleng. The event for civil services aspirants was jointly organised by Longleng administration, Police and Phom Students’ Conference.
EAC Longleng, Dr. Samuel A. Konyak, NCS in his short speech said there is always a misperception in Nagas that only wealthy people get through Civil Service Exams. However, one should not be discouraged by such false notion but instead work hard, he said.
Irrespective of educational backgrounds, every individual has the potential to get through the exams provided one puts concerted effort, Konyak added. Further, he stated that trying to enter into government services to impress somebody or seeking prestige for our family or village was a wrong intention. One should instead inculcate the spirit of willingness to serve the people and the State, he said.
