With the directives from the Childline India Foundation (CIF), Childline 1098, Mokokchung along with the rest of the country, observed the week-long awareness campaign called ‘Childline Se Dosti’ from 14 – 21 November.
Childline 1098, Mokokchung organized various activities on the occasion including a visit to Unger village under Mokokchung district where parents were sensitized and made aware of the helpline.
On the same day, Childline distributed stationeries to about 50 children.
Childline 1098, also conducted a signature campaign which was launched by the Deputy Commissioner and Childline Advisory Board Chairman, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS, during a meeting of the administrative officers.

All signatories pledged to help any child in distress and in need of care and protection. More than 200 people participated in the signature campaign.
Childline 1098, also visited the Lemjem Hospital and Woodland Nursing Home, Mokokchung and as part of the awareness campaign, handed over a frame with the Childline logo to both hospitals.

Childline 1098 in collaboration with District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Mokokchung, created a child friendly room in Police station-II, Marepkong Ward. For which, Childline 1098 acknowledged former Superintendent of Police, Aotula T Imchen for allotting the room.
Every year under the directive of Childline India Foundation ‘Childline Se Dosti’ is observed. It is a weeklong national campaign that aims to make citizens, stakeholders aware of Childline 1098.
The campaign involves a range of events, activities across the country for spreading awareness on the emergency helpline number for children in need of care and protection.
