Nagaland’s renowned fashion designer Khrielasier Liezietsu captivated audiences at the ongoing Northeast Festival in Delhi, showcasing his latest collection on November 15 evening.

Representing Nagaland, Liezietsu joined other designers from the northeastern states to highlight the region’s rich cultural heritage through fashion.

The festival, held from November 15 to 17, 2024, was inaugurated by Nagaland’s Minister for Tourism, Temjen Imna Along. It celebrates the vibrant culture, traditions, and diversity of India’s northeastern region, bringing together the “Seven Sisters” and Sikkim on one platform.

Each year, the Northeast Festival serves as a bridge between cultures, attracting thousands of visitors with its array of traditional handicrafts, indigenous cuisines, music, dance, and contemporary fashion inspired by local designs. The festival is also a hub for discussions on tourism, economic development, and social issues affecting the Northeast, aiming to foster greater understanding and connection among people from different parts of India.
