The Mon Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) constructed an approach road to Tangnyu-Yuching community site in Mon Town of Nagaland.

Taking cognisance of the requirement of people from the Tangnyu-Yuching community, the Assam Rifles constructed an approach road to the Community Center site by provision of JCB and other administrative support.

The approach road was inaugurated on 17 November by the Commandant of Mon Battalion as the chief guest.

The approach road would make a huge difference for the 300 households of Tangnyu-Yuching community by provision of an all-weather pliable road.

The construction of the road by Assam Rifles was appreciated by the local Konyak community.
