The CSOs and PVC had imposed ‘indefinite bandh’ of interstate movement of vehicles on the highway connecting Nagaland and Manipur at Tepuiki Bridge in Peren since 31 July 2023 in protest of the lackadaisical attitude of NHIDCL to construct the 2.8 Km (Approx) stretch of the NH-129A Package-1 (Peren Town Portion) as per the Original DPR and Contract Agreement.
On Wednesday, the CSOs acknowledged Nagaland Government for sincerely initiating the matter and appreciated the overwhelming participation and support of the general public and media fraternity.
