In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, 2024 one day training session for the Sector Magistrates was held on February 2 at the DC Conference Hall, Mokokchung, informed DIPR.

Chumlamo Humtsoe, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung delivered the welcome address while Renben Mozhui, Assistant Election Officer, Mokokchung gave a short briefing on the functions of Sector Officers to ensure smooth and efficient electoral process. He also dwelt on the necessity to organize awareness programmes on EVM demonstration and SVEEP.

It was the first phase of training of the Sector Magistrates for the upcoming election. Mesutoba Ao, Assistant Prof. Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and Wabang Mollier, PGT, Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung were the Master Trainers.
