‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign culminates in Wokha

The Wokha Town Council celebrated the culmination of the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign today at the DC Conference Hall, highlighting community commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Special Guest Renbomo Ezung, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Executive Officer of the Wokha Town Council, emphasised the importance of cleanliness for a healthier environment and the need for collective action in fostering sustainable change.

Later, results of Swachhta Hi Seva Activists Competition were announced-

Essay Competition:

1st Place: Emme Z Kikon (Class 10, Santsuo School)

2nd Place: Mhavungi J Mozhui (Class 9, Perennial School)

Poetry Competition:

1st Place: Renchumi (Class 12, GHSS)

2nd Place: Zuyani R Humtsoe (Class 9, Isaiah Ability School)

3rd Place: Echungbeni N Khuvung (Class 9, Grace School)

Painting & Poster Competition:

1st Place: Yansarhomo J Ezung (Class 9, Perennial School)

2nd Place: Freda I Tsopoe (Class 9, Libemo Memory School)

3rd Place: Lichumlo R Odyuo (Class 9, Santsuo School)

Waste to Art Competition: Rhuphen Thera (SHG Forest Colony)

Cleanliness Drive: Tsumang B (Ward 8)

Pisali (Sweeper)

The program was chaired by Nzano P Kikon, Councillor of Wokha Town Council, Invocation by Nzanbeni Humtsoe, Vote of Thanks by Orenyimo Odyuo, Sanitation Inspector, Benediction by Tsenyani Odyuo, UDA, WTC.

The Wokha Town Council expresses gratitude to all participants and encourages continued efforts towards a cleaner, greener Wokha.
