The newly constructed Village Council Hall at Mollen was inaugurated by Z Nyusietho Nyuthe, Advisor, NSDMA and Inland Waterways, Government of Nagaland on September 9 as the Special Guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Nyusietho Nyuthe expressed his happiness over the timely completion and satisfactory workmanship of the project. He stated that the Council Hall was constructed under the Iconic Project under the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) for the financial year 2025–26.

The Advisor emphasized that the newly inaugurated hall should serve not merely as a meeting place but as a “House of Justice”, where village matters are discussed and judgments are delivered fairly, impartially and in the larger interest of the community. He also called upon the Village Council members to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, unity and with the spirit of service.

The inauguration marks an important milestone for the people of Mollen and is expected to strengthen the functioning of the Village Council and provide a suitable platform for community deliberations and peaceful resolution of local issues.
