Zunheboto: ‘Night Carnival’ to be organized as part of Ahuna cum mini Hornbill Festival

Zunheboto: A ‘Night Carnival’ is being organized at the heart of the town area for three days under the theme ‘Brighter Zunheboto’

Ahuna festival, a post-harvest and premier festival of the Sumi Naga tribe will be celebrated this year from 12 -14 November.

In relation to this, the Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI), under the patronage of the state government and under the banner of the Sumi Hoho, will be organizing a ‘Night Carnival’ at the heart of the town area on these three days under the theme ‘Brighter Zunheboto’.

Inahoto Assumi, Secretary of ZCCI said thar the objective of the carnival is to promote local entrepreneurs, agriprenuers, artisans and various artists.

The Chamber invites interested vendors for registration from 4 November onwards from the office Chamber on a nominal registration charge. Agripreneurs may set up stalls free of charge.

Assumi called upon various artists including singers, dancers, comedians and others to participate and the best artists will be awarded. The vendors and artists selection will be in order of arrival of request.

He encouraged the locals to actively participation and enjoy the great carnival aura, food, various shows and other forms of merrymaking.
