Personnel of Wokha Police Station conducted a raid and arrested one person today from Tamang Colony Wokha for possession of suspected brown sugar.

The police recovered 33 grams of suspected brown sugar (sunflower drugs) concealed in five small plastic containers from the house.

Accordingly, a case was registered under the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) for investigation.

Additionally, the Wokha PS personnel also arrested a co-accused in c/w previous c.no.0052/2022 u/s-21(b) NDPS Act. Around 42 grams of suspected brown sugar concealed in a soap case was recovered and seized from the accused yesterday.
