Zunheboto: ZCCI imposes blanket ban on unauthorised donations/extortion

The Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI) had an emergency meeting today to curb the unwanted, unauthorised donations being sought from the public and business persons.

Following a thorough discussion, the ZCCI adopted a number of resolutions. With regard to the issue of donations and extortion, the house resolved to impose a blanket ban on unauthorised donation and any form of extortion on any forum.

The house resolved to apprise the Zunheboto Town Council (ZTC) for strict control of prices of commodities in order to ensure control of price escalation during the festive season.

In addition, the house also resolved to give a prize to the best decorated shop.

The ZCCI also informed that in case of unauthorised donation/extortion taking place, all shops are to get in touch with the ZCCI grievance cell through the contact information provided below.
