As part of the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project, the three winners of Miss Nagaland 2022 began their first task after being crowned on 9 December 2022.

On the eve of Christmas, the winners distributed tea and cakes to the traffic personnel, vegetable vendors and labourers in and around the capital city of Kohima with an aim to spread the message of peace, love and kindness.

Speaking on the sideline, the beauty queens asserted that it is a small gesture to show their love and honour to the traffic personnel and others and to also let them know that they are thankful for rendering their service and show their respect to them.

“We should share our love and kindness to each and every individual. I think with whatever little things we have, it’s time to share our love so, that’s what we are doing today and we are looking forward to do more of our charity projects,” second runner-up Jentiren Jamir stated.
