Khaseo Anar, the intending candidate of Indian National Congress for 59th Seyochung-Simiti, kicked off his campaign for the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly at Seyochung village in Kiphire district on Wednesday.

The campaign began with the 59th A/C Congress hoisting the party flag at the candidate’s residence.

Likyuse Sangtam, Working President of Kiphire District Congress Committee, reminded the supporters that the INC party is deeply embedded in the hearts of the people both in Nagaland and India. No one can deny the fact that India and Nagaland were formed under the leadership of the Indian National Congress, achieving independence for India and statehood for Nagaland, Sangtam added.

The INC unfortunately have no representatives in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly at present, but it is a hope that when INC comes in power, Nagaland will rise to a new meaning and heights, he stated.

Khaseo Anar, the intending Congress candidate for 59th Seyochung-Sitimi A/C, thanked all those who have faith and hope in the spirit of the Congress party and their leaders.

Anar said that these are hard times for the party in the state politics but “we will never give up on the truth truth and the commitment of the Congress party”.

He thanked everybody, young and old, who were present at the programme to show their support to the party and him.
