Nagaland election 2023: Postal ballot voting for those who applied in Form-12 D initiated in Wokha

Wokha: Altogether 278 applicants under the Wokha district have applied for postal ballot Form 12-D

To facilitate the People with Disabilities (PWDs) the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan initiated house to house campaign and distributed polling (Postal Ballot Form-12) materials to the Persons with Disabilities (PWD), senior citizens (80 years and above) and COVID patients on 16 February 2023, a DIPR report stated.

Later the PWDs, senior citizens (80 years and above), and COVID patients who have applied in Form-12 D for postal ballot voting were given the privilege to cast their vote through postal ballot on 16 February 2023.

Altogether 278 applicants under the Wokha district have applied for postal ballot Form 12-D.

Further applicants, who have missed casting their vote through postal ballot on 16 February 2023, will be allowed to cast on the 17 February 2023. The Polling Teams will go to the respective address of the applicants and help them vote through postal ballot.
