Zunheboto DPDB meeting held

Zunheboto district held its DPDB meeting for the month of February today at the DC Conference Hall, informed DIPR. DC & Vice Chairman DPDB Zunheboto Rahul Bhanudas Mali, IAS chaired the meeting.

In his welcome address the Chairman informed the house about the recently concluded Olympic games, commending the District’s performance with 9 medals and congratulated the players as well as coaching staffs. This was followed by review of the last meeting which was read out by DPO Zunheboto.

 

During the discussion hour, Multipurpose Hall for high rental charges was discussed and would be deliberates in the next DPDB meeting. General Secretary Sumi Hoho, Vihuto also shared his views requesting DC Zunheboto to make all HoD to attend meeting compulsorily and take necessary action to the defaulting officers accordingly. He also suggested that Zunheboto District should have an administrative guest house for convenience of all heads of department coming from other places.

In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, the DC informed all concerned departments to submit the list of employees for distribution of work assignment. He also stated that the road connecting Zunheboto to Mokokchung has been proposed for two lane road and for which he requested the district administration to organise a meeting on March 4 to discuss the matter with all villages inhabiting along the roadways.

Concluding the meeting the DC Zunheboto informed the house that the excess amount of ₹36 lakhs gathered from Zunheboto District Golden Jubilee has been audited and proposed for purchasing the local ground which was earlier a disputed area.
