The Eco club and Green Campus Oriental College Kohima conducted a cleanliness and plantation drive in the college campus to observe the World Water Day on March 22.

The objective behind observing this World Water Day was to create awareness and inspire action to tackle the water and sanitation crisis.

The program began with Vikiezelie, speaking on the importance of water conservation and the need for accessing safe drinking water, informed a press release issued by the College.

The students of second semester BA and B.Com along with teachers actively participated in the different activities, such as, cleaning the college campus, planting tree saplings ( Mangifera Indica,  Malus Sueversii, Peltophorum Dubium, Prunus Serrolata, Torreya Taxifolia), cleaning and rearranging potted plant, etc., organised by the Eco Club and Green Campus.
