Aotemulung Kilem Building Inaugurated in Mokokchung Town

Mokokchung: Top floor features modern conference hall equipped with kitchen, reception area, all available for hire

The “Aotemulung Kilem,” a newly constructed six-story multipurpose building, was officially inaugurated on 6th September 2024 at Alongmen Ward in Mokokchung Town. The building was constructed by the Mopungchuket Senso Telongjem Mokokchung (MSTM) in collaboration with the Aotemulungtsur Telongjem, Mokokchung Town.

The inauguration ceremony was led by Rev. Jongpong Jamir, Pastor of the Mopungchuket Baptist Church, who officially inaugurated the building, while Rev. Temsuwati Kichu, Associate Pastor of the Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA), offered the dedicatory prayer.

Watisutsung, Secretary of the Building Construction Committee, presented a brief report on the project, revealing that the total construction cost amounted to ₹2,13,69,215. The project, initiated by a dedicated committee, began on March 22, 2022, and was completed in July 2024.

The six-story building is designed for various purposes, with five floors designated for commercial use. The top floor features a modern conference hall, a kitchen, and a reception area, all available for hire.

During the ceremony, several dignitaries addressed the gathering. The Chairman of Alongmen Ward expressed his gratitude to the unions for enhancing the appearance of the ward with the new structure. The Chairman of the Mopungchuket Village Council commended the visionary efforts of both unions in successfully completing the project.

The president of Aotemulungtsur Telongjem Mokokchung Town also extended heartfelt thanks to MSTM for their unwavering support in realizing the vision of this multipurpose building.
