Benjamin Yepthomi tours all district of Nagaland during 1st year as State BJP President

Kohima: Yepthomi tours all 20 Assembly Constituencies of Eastern Nagaland

The Nagaland State BJP President, Benjamin Yepthomi has toured all districts of the State during the first year of his term which will be completed on 25th September 2024.

Lauding the achievement, the Media Officer & Convenor, State Media Cell, BJP Nagaland, said that Yepthomi has covered 30 Assembly Constituencies including the 20 Mandals of Eastern Nagaland and “created history as the first and only State BJP President to have extensively toured and connected with the grassroot people.”

It was further informed that on the 12th of September 2024, during the State President’s maiden visit to 52 A/C Longkhim Chare Assembly Constituency, the Former RPI Candidate Sethrichem Sangtam, founder and managing Director of Better Life Foundation Nagaland and recipient of the 1st Dr Rohini Nayyar award in 2022, joined the BJP along with his supporters.

Furthermore, on the 23rd of September 2024, during the Yepthomi’s visit to 60 A/C Pungro/Kiphire Assembly Constituency, Former Deputy Speaker of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly and RPI Candidate for 2023 General Election Yangseo Sangtam from 60 A/C Pungro/Kiphire had officially merged with the BJP with his supporters in a grand program at Kiphire Town.

The press release also stated that Benjamin Yepthomi had toured all 20 Assembly Constituencies of Eastern Nagaland along with his team as part of the State Presidential Mandal Tour for ‘Sadasyata Abhiyan – Membership Drive’ which began in 41 A/C Tizit on the 4th of September 2024, and culminated at 59 A/C Seyochung/Sitimi on the 24th of September 2024.

“During his entire trip, he expounded on the importance of strengthening the organisational structures of the party at the grassroots and also impressed upon the party karyakartas to ensure maximum participation during the ongoing membership drive,” the Media Officer & Convenor said.
