The Dimapur Commissioner of Police has issued a traffic advisory in view of the restoration work underway along National Highway-29 near the Airport Junction.
The restoration works of the sinking area at 114-100 Km RHS (Right hand side) along NH-29, Airport Junction (Near City Tyre Service), 3rd Mile will be undertaken from July 18 to 25.
The following traffic advisories are being issued for the safety and convenience of road users:

- The sinking portion of NH-29 near the airport junction shall be sealed and closed off for repair.
- All vehicles proceeding towards Dimapur shall only be allowed single lane access from the airport junction in order to facilitate uninterrupted maintenance works at the sinking portion.
- All road users are advised not to overtake/ park/ stop along this stretch under repair.
- Commuters are advised to exercise extreme caution at night while travelling along the repair stretch.
