The Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has expressed concern over the recent transfer of teachers in the middle of the academic session.

The Union has said that this “sudden and unjustified move has disrupted the learning process, causing undue distress to students and hampering their academic performance.”

The DNSU has sought for valid reasons from concerned authorities for the transfers. It also urged the authorities to consider the long-term consequences of such actions on the students and to review the transfer policy to ensure that it prioritizes students’ needs and well-being.

Further, the Union has proposed a collaborative approach to address this issue, involving stakeholders from the education sector, to find solutions for the benefit of students.
