Celebrating the International Day of Girl Child 2024, an extempore speech competition was organized by Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Niuland District on 7th October 2024 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall, Niuland.

The competition started with a short speech from resource person, Sentimenla, District Welfare Officer, Niuland. Lina Achumi from Government Higher Secondary School, Niuland won the first prize while Louis Pame from Shepherd Montessori High School and Nalto Zhimo from Shepherd Montessori High School won 2nd and 3rd Prize respectively.
