The Spearhead Motorsport Initiative has announced that the sixth edition Throttle Thrust VI will be held at Mangmetong village, Mokokchung on 1st and 2nd November 2024 and that it will showcase exhilarating races across three competitive categories: Open, Below 1300, and SUV.

Team Spearhead President Meren Tzudir and Covenor of Throttle Thrust VI Mughato Aye have informed that the event will unfold on a dynamic race track over two days. On Day 1, racers will test their speed and skill on a 3-kilometer tarmac track (Wet/Dry). On Day 2, they will face the challenges of a 3-kilometer gravel and dirt track (Wet/Dry).

Categories and Prize Money:

– Open Category: ₹70,000 (1st place), ₹40,000 (2nd place), ₹30,000 (3rd place), ₹10,000 (4th place)

– Below 1300 Category: ₹50,000 (1st place), ₹30,000 (2nd place), ₹20,000 (3rd place)

– SUV Category: ₹50,000 (1st place), ₹30,000 (2nd place), ₹20,000 (3rd place)

Further, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Spearhead Motorsport Initiative, a special cash prize will be awarded to the team with the most participants, making this a milestone event for the local racing community, the organisers informed. Additionally, an individual award for the fastest timing on both days will be up for grabs, celebrating the top-performing racer.

This year’s edition is even more significant as Throttle Thrust VI will serve as the final round for the North-East Championships, bringing the region’s most skilled racers to the forefront in a battle for the championship title.
