Three cubs have been born to Namibian Cheetah Aasha at Kuno National Park in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Labour and Employment Bhupender Yadav announced in a post on X on Wednesday.
In his post he said he was thrilled to share that KNP has welcomed three new members. Yadav also said that the birth of the cubs is a roaring success for Project Cheetah, envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to restore ecological balance.

The Union Minister further congratulated all experts involved in the project, the Kuno wildlife officials, and wildlife enthusiasts across India.
PM Modi had released eight felines from Namibia at KNP on 17 September 2022, his birthday. The cheetahs included five females and three males.
