Chang Wedoshi Setshang suspended its agitation from today after the Department of Higher and Technical reassured to look into its demand on Wednesday. CWS resumed its protest on 1st March 2024 after the Nagaland Government failed to keep its word to resolve the transportation issues for the students of Sao Chang College in Tuensang.

The students held protest marches, submitted memorandum, observed ‘black flag day’ and even imposed a ban of government vehicles from the roads of Tuensang.

CWS, however, said that it would recontinue its agitation if the department does not fulfil its promise on time.
