1229 registered for CMHIS through door-to-door registration drive by 24 Angetyongpang AC NDPP

The 24 Angetyongpang NDPP AC kicked off its door-to-door registration for Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) on 28 November and completed its first phase on 12 December.

Supongwati, President, 24 Angetyongpang AC NDPP Youth Organisation while giving a brief report on the registration Campaign for CMHIS, informed that there are 12 units under 24 Angetyongpang AC where 20 operators from every unit were trained and deployed as operators for proper implementation of the registration drive.

He said in the 1st phase of its registration drive 1229 beneficiaries were successfully enrolled which the organisation considers a positive response from the people.

The president also asserted that the youth organisation has given all efforts to make sure that the scheme reaches every eligible beneficiary in Angetyongpang AC.

He highlighted that due to poor internet connectivity in most of the villages, door-to-door drive could not be achieved. However, he shared that the organisation was determined to start the 2nd phase and urged the general public of 24 Angetyongpang AC to come forward and register to avail the benefits of the scheme.

He also informed that people willing to register can contact their respective unit operators and the AC office anytime.

While sharing on the agenda, he said the scheme will cover 1950 diseases altogether for treatment in empanelled clinics, hospitals across the nation and therefore encouraged the general public to avail the benefits offered through the scheme.

The youth organisation expressed its sincere appreciation to the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio for launching such a tremendous scheme for the welfare of the people and said the organisation is looking forward for more cooperation for the development and upliftment of the society as a whole.
