The Kohima District Cricket Association Inter Club T20 Tournament is currently underway in the State’s capital. On the second day of the tournament, held on November 22, Pfuchatsumia Eagles and Elite Cricket Club won the matches.
The first match was played between Tsütuonuomia Knights and Pfuchatsumia Eagles where the latter won the toss and elected to bowl. Tsütuonuomia Knights scored 127/10 in 20 overs. Kevihezo Solo scored 48 runs, Thejasetuo Solo scored 34 runs while Mhaphruoneizo took 3 wickets for the Eagles. Pfuchatsumia Eagles chased the target by scoring 128/6 in 19.4 overs. Petekhrietuo scored 44 runs (not out) and Razhulhoulie scored 26 runs for the winning team. Pfuchatsumia Eagles won the match by four wickets
With a score of 44 runs and 2 wickets, Petekhrietuo was awarded the man of the match.

In the second match played between, Dapfhütsumia Cricket Club and Elite Cricket Club, ECC won the toss and elected to bat.
Elite Cricket Club scored a mammoth 228/2 in 20 overs. Tapito Thupithor scored 90 runs in 35 balls, Imomemba scored 79 runs (not out). Chasing the target, Dapfhütsumia C.C could only manage 112/8 in 20 overs where Kevibozo Kire scored 26 runs (not out) and Sepichem and Vikato took two wickets each. Elite won the match by 116 runs.The Man of the match was awarded to Tapito Thupithor for scoring 90 runs in 35 balls.
A coaching camp is also underway at the same venue where four girls and three boys are participating. The coaching camp is being conducted by NCA Certified Coaches. The coaching camp will continue till November 23.
